I like it, but I want to suggest a small change.

Is there a way you can make the background the same sort of gray the main forum has, because right now, the white border sort of seems out of place.

Other than that, it looks awesome.

That would be cool, but I don't think so. I'll ask onenitedrive just to make sure though. The image itself is supposed to stretch to the length and width of any settings people have their resolution at.

Nevermind that. I actually was able to do that. (Heh, I'm not the HTML inclined one, like Tony is.) What do you think? Better now?

Much better. Even though it contrasts the picture, I think that's the point.

When it was white, the picture of fog was actually darker than the border, which is what seemed out of place, but now with the darker background, the fog is much lighter, which gives a stronger impression of "You're about to step into FoG, it's a much lighter place than the outside."

At least, that's my interpretation.

I definitely agree. :] I was comparing them next to one another, and the contrast and the separate color makes it seem less plain. Thanks for thinking of that, Diodri. Onenitedrive also liked the color change.

It shocked me for a moment. I had to check that I spelt the URL correctly. It looks nice Very bright if your expecting a dark forum. Might have burnt my retina's.

Well, I'm not either. It took me two refreshes to load the new entry page, but I gave my opinion based on the whole "what if I had DSL" idea... =3

I actually am going to make the file size smaller for the entire image, so that it takes much less time to load. I'll wait to do that though until Tony is finished working on it.

For those you how don't want/can't load through the main page, just bookmark to the main index. That's what I do... >.>

Yeah, I think if you're a member, you'll want to have the forum bookmarked. The main is more for a first impression for first-time visitors. I have the message board itself bookmarked as well.

Bookmark? Nah, I let the "Awesome Bar" do it for me *pets the FireFox*

All done! Tony finished making us a button for our homepage. Now, I think it seems a little more professional at least, rather than just being a big image that you click on.

I like the way it looks a lot better.

The bird chirping thing is really annoying, though. I think if you found a longer sound file to accompany the image so it would take more than four seconds before repeating itself, it would be better. It's also pretty cheery chirping which is a contrast to the image and ghostly feel. =3

Is there a way to make the little window icon the whirly-swirly black swirl thing like it does for the board itself? At the moment, it's just a slime-green speech box.

I do agree that the birds do get annoying after awhile. I wish there was a longer sound file that I could use that I didn't have to pay for. (I found a lot of sites with ambient forest sounds, but most of them wanted you to pay.) Lol I was trying to look for something a bit more...creepy too. I couldn't find anything that wasn't totally cheesy (like wolves howling during a thunderstorm or ghoulish laughter).

If anyone can ever find me anything that would fit our homepage (in terms of background ambient sound), that'd be fabulous. XD For now, I'll just remove the birds.

I didn't notice that icon, Kathryn, but thanks for pointing that out. I'm not sure if we can change it or not, but onenitedrive's currently looking into it.

I think I fixed the favicon. You might have to add it to your favorites again, I'm not sure.

Good job! It is fixed. I'm still keeping the board itself faved, but it looks a lot better in tabs. Now I don't have this green blight on my screen. hahah

I like the new homepage!! It took me by suprise at first though, lol. I was like, "Huh? Where'd this come from?" But yeah, it's very nice!!
