Custom Fire Emblem Characters

I make lots of them, and I'm getting better all the time. Stuff on FEPlanet.net is better than mine, but that's mostly because I just use MSPaint and Ulead PhotoExpress 3.0 SE. No Photoshop (yet!). ^^
Anyway, I'd love to know what you all think. I started making them for my Tales of Inari role-play on GaiaOnline. Here they are, in the order that I made them, to show you my progression in skill.

I've always wondered how people make those... Each and every on of them is very nice! My only critique is that you make more.

P.S. I've never seen the FEPlanet ones to compare, though.

Huh...I've played all the GBA Fire emblem games, Kalon, and I have to say, those guys look like characters that could be in any of them.

Except for that bald guy, mostly because of that bumpy head...I don't think I've seen any sort of thing like that in Fire Emblem.

Actually the bald guy was hardly modified at all. It's Oliver, from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance for the Gamecube. ^_^

Huh...well, I was just going with my knowledge of the GBA games.

How long do those things take?

They normally take a few hours. Though, now that I'm getting better at it, it totally depends on what I'm making. It most often ranges from half an hour to four hours.

I still don't have photoshop, but I discovered a very handy way to select by color with the program I'm using. Saved me a lot of time.

Looking good, Kalon. One's moustache does look a little pale compared to the rest of his facial hair, though.

Kalon, do you think you could make one for Sir Barthon Camlin, my Sephiris character?

Hmmmmm, I guess I could, if you want.
But then I might have to make one for ALL the Sephiris characters.......
Actually, I guess I can't do all the characters, because of the dragons. (though... hm... that might be worth trying...)

Huh...You realize that any of these you made could actually fit right into a Fire Emblem game, right? They just look..well, that good.
